Steps to teach a child to arrange his room by himself:
- Talk to your child calmly, ask him to clean his room and help him explain the steps.
- Urge your child to arrange and clean his bed, not to leave his toys and things on it and put everything in its place, the cleanliness of the room starts with a clean bed.
- Ask him to separate the clothes and put them on top of the bed, leaving the rest of the toys on the floor.
- Instruct your child to separate the unclean clothes and put them in the washing machine, apply the clean ones, and put them in the closet. Here comes the role of another task. Bring your child the baskets for clothes and toys, and ask him to put the toys in the baskets designated for them, as well as the clothes.
Assign your child simple tasks appropriate for his age, starting from the age of two, as you can initially teach him to throw some papers or tissues in the trash after using them, and so on. Then gradually increase the tasks and responsibilities as he grows up to suit his abilities, and by the time he reaches the fourth year of his life, set a daily schedule for him with the tasks required of him.
